Humans are unique for formulating and articulating ideas that usually influence their behaviours.
I hope this site will be a repository for the ideas that guide and have guided behaviour. It is certain that everyone has a story about herself or himself or about someone else, in the course of doing something and making a choice under the influence of certain ideas.
We form ideas about each others, the situations around us and the world.
The more universal the ideas are the more interesting they would would become, because they would underpin a pattern of behaviour and not just series of disconnected actions with nothing common apart from the agent. Ideologies, including religions, and various philosophies are the sort of ideas that have influences major and the most dramatic events of the world and consequently shaped the world, think of communism, or Islam.
However, it is obvious that we do not have the perfect ideas of the world. All ideologies, including all religions, and all philosophies have shown shortfalls. I believe that all politically induced humanitarian disasters, like wars and genocides, are the consequences of inadequate political thinkings not only on the part of the perpetrators but also on the part of spectator and subjects of these ideas on the account that they have not fathomed those ideas adequately and did not offer the antidote for them.
Short of political disasters we also suffer from lacking the satisfactory guiding ideas.
The shortfalls of our worldviews or guiding thoughts may imply that under certain circumstance we run out of ideas as to how conduct ourselves and thus take pragmatical and ecclectic approach depending on which set of ideas is more convinient in certain times. Under certain other times, we may run out of ideas and set our personal selfinterest as the guidance.
